Arsenal vs Crystal Palace match preview

Arsenal have won their last 3 games, scoring 8 goals and conceding just 1. Crystal Palace have only won 1 of their last 6, conceding 13 and scoring 5 goals in those 6 games. On form Arsenal would be strong favourites, though Palace have proven they won’t roll over against the bigger teams with draws against Spurs and Leicester and a victory at Old Trafford against League leaders Man United. It looks likely there will be a couple of goals at least, though the match results could be a risky bet with an inconsistent Arsenal team. The standout bet is both teams to have 3 or more corners, both teams have had a minimum of 3 corners in 15/17 games, whilst Arsenal have given away 3 or more corners in 16/17 games and Palace have given away at least 3 corners in 100% of their 17 games this year. It would be no surprise to see cards in this one as in the last 8 Arsenal games there have been a grand total of 29 yellow cards and 2 red cards given to them and their opponents. Palace have had at least 1 booking in 7 of their last 8 games. So whilst a case can be made for goals and bookings, the strongest bet is clearly corners, and it would be no surprise to see a high number of corners with both teams contributing.
